Reporting a Compliance Question or Concern
All members of the University community, including faculty, staff, and students, who have a question or good faith concern regarding compliance with applicable laws and regulations or University policies are expected to report such concerns. While you are encouraged to report compliance issues directly to your supervisor, dean, or the University's General Counsel, we recognize that may not always be an option. If you do not feel comfortable reporting such concerns in person, or if you wish to remain anonymous, you may report your concerns through the University's Ethics and Compliance Helpline.
The Ethics and Compliance Helpline can be reached toll free at (804) 287-1800 or by submitting an online report.
In order to follow up on your concern, you will need to provide some basic information:
- A description of the concern
- Names of individuals involved
- Location and date of the incident
- Your name and contact number (if you are willing to provide this information)
The Ethics and Compliance Helpline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Ethics and Compliance Helpline should not be used for emergencies. For emergencies, please call the University of Richmond Police Department at (804) 289-8911.
